Original name – Thalachenna. Most profuse of all known mangoes in Kerala. Fruit is sour and hence used for pickling and a single fruit can weigh up to 2kg. Fruit is not ideal for ripening. The tree has a balanced canopy and good architecture. Fewer diseases are affected.
